XCMG is planning to set up a factory for construction machinery in India
XCMG is planning to establish a new factory in India, as revealed recently by the firm’s chairman Wang Min. He said that the XCMG Group intends to invest US$150 million into building a new factory in India.
He recently visited all the Schwing factories in India to better understand the market and listen to reports made by top management about operations and future sales expansion. At the same time, he also made surveys of the Indian market, met with local dealers, convened meetings and made clear orientations and specific measures in the local market.
After listening to reports by the sales team of Schwing India, he said that the Indian market has great potential. Work for the first sections of XCMG’s new factory for construction machinery in India should be complete by the end of 2017. At the same time, XCMG will make full use of the existing sales system of Schwing India to expand the market and serve Indian clients.
