Electric option for portable Pitbull 2300 screening plant
The compact and portable Pitbull 2300 can be towed directly to the excavation site for fast processing of materials
The Pitbull 2300 screening plant, manufactured by Lake Erie Portable Screeners, is available in both diesel and electric-powered models, and has been developed with simple operation, maintenance and transport in mind.
It incorporates special features such as full hydraulic operation, tubular frame construction, a Torflex axle and a reversible shaker, and is said to offer high outputs with a wide range of materials such as, gravel, asphalt, topsoil and mulch.
The Pitbull 2300’s 20 foot long (6m) stacking conveyor adjusts hydraulically from heights of 6 feet, 8 inches (2m) up to 13 feet (4m) to feed material directly into a tri-axle or dump truck. This allows users to create larger stockpiles, which increases efficiency by reducing the number of times equipment needs to be moved.
Powered by a Yanmar diesel engine that complies with 2008 EPA Tier 4 and EU Stage IIIA emissions standards, the company also offers an AC electrical package for applications in confined or enclosed spaces such as tunnels, mines and indoor projects.
