The new Cepia unit developed by Secmair is said to make manual asphalt laying more efficient. The unit helps to boost work quality, while reducing the time and effort needed to make road repairs. According to the firm, the unit considerably reduces the difficulties that operators can face while carrying out road patching. A spokesperson said, “The Cepia is a simple machine to replace hand working of jobs like chip sealing.”

The machine can be used speedily by a single operator, with the final finish to a road repair then being provided by a compaction plate.
