The US-based Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) is holding its 27th annual event from September 14th-16th in Ohio. The Annual International Convention and Old Equipment Exposition will be located at the National Construction Equipment Museum in Bowling Green, Ohio. The show features demonstrations and displays of old construction and quarrying machinery, including horse-drawn, steam, petrol and diesel-powered equipment, cable and hydraulic shovels and cranes and old trucks. The 2012 show will include the annual convention of the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club, and will also feature numerous restored Caterpillar machines. The show is open to the general public and is also aimed at anyone involved with the construction, mining and dredging equipment, so they can observe the ancestors of current machinery in action.
