FRD’s launches its HCR1450-ED crawler drill
The new 15.25tonne FRD Furukawa crawler drill HCR1450-ED fills the gap between the well-known models HCR1200-EDII and HCR1500-EDII.
A larger compressor; more powerful drifter; fuel-saving options, and a Tier 4i (stage 3B) Cummins engine are among the features along with a new Can Bus sytem connected to the operating panel, that gives the operator several options to control the fuel consumption.
All drilling parameters can be monitored and adjusted from the cabin to achieve the best, most efficient and most economical drilling performance.
The new FRD Furukawa crawler drills are available in three models, including the HCR1450-ED. The others are the HCR1400-ED, which weighs 15.25tonnes and uses a Cummins engine, and the HCR1600-ED (17.52tonnes), which uses a Caterpillar engine. On all the drills the rod length is 3,660mm.
