More infrastructure funding needed

Luxembourg’s Ministry for Infrastructure is calling for more funding for work on the country’s Nordstraße highway in the north of the country.

1335 Luxembourg's Ministry for Infrastructure is calling for more funding for work on the country’s Nordstraße highway in the north of the country.

The cost of the work has climbed from the original estimate of €366 million in 1997 to €587 million in 2010. Further cost increases are anticipated and an additional €30 million has been requested by the Ministry, while the highway is due for completion in 3-4years.
