Tenders open July 8 for a replacement bridge over the Mendoza River in Luján de Cuyo, capital of Luján de Cuyo Department in Argentina’s Mendoza Province.

The new viaduct will replace the existing bridge that was built in 1898 and which now has weight restrictions on it.

The new bridge, near Provincial Route 15, will connect the centre of Luján de Cuyo with Perdriel. It is likely to cost around US$12.6 million, with a 20-month construction period.
