8347 Rototilt, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016, is introducing an additional tiltrotator to its line-up, to better suit excavators in the 14-19tonne sector. The R5 has been designed to sit between, and slightly overlap the existing R4 and R6 models, delivering an improved power to weight ratio for mid-range excavators. The R5 can be equipped with an optional smart ICS control system to allow it to be integrated into a machine control system. It also comes with SecureLock, the firm’s secure pin locking system to prevent unintentional dropping of buckets and attachments. Rototilt is also launching a range of three compactors to be used as attachments on excavators from 3.5-26tonnes operating weight.
