The Danish Road Directorate, Vejdirektoratet, said lower operating costs of LED highway lights mean the return on investment could be only six years.

Around 170 new road surveillance cameras were purchased by the Danish Roads Directorate – Vejdirektoratet - in late 2022 from Hikvision at a cost of around €670,000.

The original estimated cost was around €280 million for the 4km cable-stay structure when the contract was awarded by the Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet).

The €349.6 million Nordhavnstunnel contract in the capital Copenhagen was awarded by the Danish Road Directorate / Vejdirektoratet.
