Work is now commencing on the last two stretches of the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway as well as the Casablanca bypass in Morocco. The work is being managed by Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM).

The first phase of the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway upgrade was for widening along a 3km stretch. ADM provided US$44 million for this work, which helped to boost capacity to and from Mohammed V Airport.

Work in Morocco will be now be carried out by Bioui Travaux on an 18km stretch of the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway between the Tit Mellil interchange and the Lissasfa junction at a cost of $44 million. Work will also be carried out to upgrade the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway by Groupe Mojazine on a 15km stretch between the Sidi Maârouf interchange to the Bouskoura toll station at a cost of $56.9 million.
