An important road contract in Uganda has been awarded to the Serbian firm, Energoprojekt Holding. The company’s contracting division, Energoprojekt Niskogradnja, will handle the US$107 million project. The work involves improving the 86km section of the A109 route connecting the towns of Mityana and Mubende. The A109 runs west of Uganda’s capital, Kampala, and the route provides an important link connecting with the Democratic Republic of Congo.
