ANAS tenders €650 million bridge/tunnel work

The Italian road and motorway concessionaire has schedule major bridge and tunnel work.

ANAS, the Italian road and motorway concessionaire, as allocated €650 million (US$751.2 million) for maintenance of bridges, viaducts and tunnels.

Work will include the installation of more road barriers and earthworks to stablise roadside slopes.

These are the 54 lots of work within the 35 tenders published by ANAS on the Official Gazette. Notices for the four-year framework agreements include a tender for the production, supply and installation of the new ANAS NDBA barrier for the configuration of traffic dividers and bridge edges – cost is around €150 million.

There is one tender for earthworks for rocky slopes and protection of the roads worth €160 million, a tender for structural and rehabilitation of tunnels worth €180 million.
