Canadian company 2798 Carmanah Technologies is offering the versatile  new A650 aviation and obstruction solar-powered light featuring an innovative user interface, replaceable battery pack, intelligent-deployment capability and up to 10 candela of intensity. It is suited to airfield construction applications, taxiway and apron-edge lighting, barricade lighting, and obstruction lighting. The self-contained A650 is free from wiring or external power requirements, and the on-board interface provides access to configurable settings such as intensity levels and flash codes, while a built-in system status capability indicates battery health and location. An intelligent-deployment feature enables the LED-equipped A650 to adjust its optical intensity to suit the solar characteristics of its location. An optical design gives maximum visibility,  and the A650 light includes more than 250 flash patterns.
