The contract was signed between Jereh and MTU with MTU’s Oil & Gas distributor in China, China Diesel Support Services (CDSS). This order represents a breakthrough for Rolls-Royce in China. The firm says that it is confident in MTU’s leading ultra-low emissions engine technology. The 12V 4000 T95 is part of MTU’s latest Series 4000 engine platform, which meets Tier 4 final emissions standards without exhaust aftertreatment. The engine is equipped with the latest MTU technology including integrated cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and two-stage turbocharging. Combined with MTU’s refined fourth-generation common rail injection system, the Series 4000 reduces emissions while improving performance.
