Robert Bosch, DEUTZ and J. Eberspächer have signed a memorandum of understanding saying they are interested in collaborating in the area of exhaust gas treatment for non-road vehicles. The non-road market for diesel engines mainly comprises applications for construction and agricultural machinery. With stricter emissions regulations coming into force from 2011, the demand for treatment systems for this segment is growing significantly.

The non-road market for diesel engines mainly comprises applications for construction and agricultural machinery. With stricter emissions regulations coming into force from 2011, the demand for treatment systems for this segment is growing significantly.

As the negotiations stand at present, the planned joint venture would supply complete diesel exhaust systems to all engine and machinery manufacturers worldwide.
