Ralf Junker has extensive experience at BOMAG. He has worked for BOMAG since 1988, been a management member since 2001, and managing director of BOMAG since 2009. He is currently responsible for production worldwide and, as president, will assume responsibility for marketing and sales.

Together with Junker's appointment, BOMAG announces a further change in management. Responsibility for the area of production worldwide passes to Robert Laux, who, together with Ralf Junker and Dirk Woll (CFO), is now a managing director of BOMAG. Robert Laux joined BOMAG in 1997 and has been a management member for the areas of engineering and product development since 2006. In future, Laux will be additionally responsible for worldwide production and supply chain management.

With these personnel changes, FAYAT management is making the overall strategic orientation of the parent company very clear and is responding to the significant growth and growing importance of FAYAT's Road Equipment Division and BOMAG.

"With these personnel decisions, we are convinced that we are implementing changes that match the corporate culture of the FAYAT Group and the BOMAG Group. Continuity of our business policy is an important pillar of the family business FAYAT, and of BOMAG, too. We are therefore delighted that we were able to fill the president/managing director positions from our own ranks", said Jean-Claude Fayat, owner and president of the FAYAT Group. "Ralf Junker and Robert Laux have a lot of experience in management and with BOMAG. We strongly believe that this expertise will help us to continue expanding our position in the market and the individual product segments."
