The upcoming 2013 World of Asphalt and AGG1 shows will be largest ever according to the event organiser.

The expositions have both already achieved record size. The co-located events are being organised by the 1100 Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and will be held March 19th-21st, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center. The events are already on track to be sold out by opening day. The shows will highlight the newest products and technologies for the aggregates, asphalt, pavement maintenance and traffic safety sectors. More than 25 industry-related organisations are official supporters of 6069 World of Asphalt and AGG1, and several industry groups are co-locating meetings and events at the shows. Both shows are industry-owned and operated.

Attendees will have access to leading industry education programmes. New for 2013 is a first-ever conference specifically focused on issues of environment, health, and safety (EH&S) at the asphalt plant and paving site: “Beyond Compliance: Achieving EH&S Excellence." Education also includes the AGG1 Academy and People, Plants and Paving Training Sessions.
