The Flex solutions family is aimed at small to mid-sized contractors. Described by Trimble as rugged and easy-to-install are the GCS Flex for excavators and CCS Flex for soil and asphalt compactors.

Both solutions are said to be a reliable, flexible and affordable channel to leverage machine control technology.

Also featured by Trimble during bauma China 2012, has been its off machine range of Site Positioning Systems (SPS) for the construction surveyor, grade checker, supervisor and other job site personnel.

Users of Trimble’s SPS technology can carry out grade checking, topographic surveys, volume measurements and as-built surveys.

The American company says that the use of its SPS solutions leads to faster and more efficient earthmoving and paving works.
