Progress is being seen for an important road project in Romania. Final approval has still to be gained for the Bacau-Pascani Highway however. The section measures 77km.

The project will form part of the highway linking Ploiesti and Pascani. The highway will measure 320km in total and the whole route is expected to cost €5.22 billion to construct. Financing for the Ploiesti-Pascani Highway is being supplied through the National Recovery and Resilience Program (PNRR).
